Bridgnorth

Despite the scoreline this was far from a one sided affair, with West Brom playing the better passing hockey. Bridgnorths goal was a blessed place indeed as various players spurned chance after chance. West Brom had a tendency to attempt to go up the middle a bit, especially as the game wore on, and were a bit fragile at the back, but it was a very good display on the whole. In the second half Bridgnorth gave us a display in how to take your chances (2 chances, 2 goals).

All of the youngsters played well, with my vote going to Eddie, who showed terrific energy and hunger throughout the game. Dave Bellamy had an excellent game and was dangerous throughout as well.

Kev. Thanks for the team sheet, but what was that formation? It confused everyone, so i brought it back to to 4-4-2 at half time.
