2nds continue victorious run

14 Oct 17. West Bromwich Hockey Club Mens 2nd played Kings Heath away and left their sandy astro with a well deserved 2-1 win. Starting strongly and confidently, West Brom never looked like they were going to lose the match, although they somehow reached half time without registering on the score board. Captain Dan Hunt opened the scoring with a second goal from Neil Fellows about ten minutes later. A late goal from Kings Heath proved too little too late. The match was not without controversy, with no less than three cards for West Brom players, but overall a promising performance as some of the regular squad were missing.
