West Brom Ladies went to Barton with only 9 players. We then lost the coin toss and had to attack against the wind. We soaked up the early pressure that Barton threw at us.

A very strong 16 man Bromsgrove Squad visited a West Bromwich squad who struggled to muster a full strength team., defeating West Bromwich by 3 goals to nil.

A well-deserved first win of the season for the Black Country giants. Straight from the delayed pushback West Bromwich were all over the opposition like a rash.

1st Team Face Barford in Pre-Season Friendly
15th Sept 2018: Home team Barford played with a strong 1st team and as they play a higher standard of league hockey we were expected to take a heavy beating. From 3-0 down at half time, our young squad battled to a 5-2 defeat.

29 Sept 2018: A tough first away game of the season for the young guns of West Bromwich vs Walsall & Aldridge 1st. Coming into the season with the youngest team in living memory. There is a quiet confidence about this team. Very focused and a steely grittiness.

A Battling Second XI lose out at Bromsgrove
The Second XI were away to a strong Bromsgrove side, matching them goal for goal until the final five minutes of the match, bringing to an end their unbeaten run of three wins in the friendlies at the start of the season.
